Elephorm - 3ds Max 2013 - Particle Flow & After Effect | 5.19 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: French

Through this training devoted to 3ds Max 3ds Max particles incorporated in 2013 you will learn how to create particle effects varied, smoke, fog, particles associated with objects, etc. .... This training 3ds Max requires no external plugin like Trapcode Particular.

3ds Max In this tutorial, you will use Particle Flow, the very powerful particle system for 3ds Max 2013. Based on a nodal architecture, this motor complex has many important advances in the field of fluid simulations.

You will learn to create 3D flames in 3ds Max, the volume of water, smoke, explosions and much more! You will also learn your particles composited in After Effects for renderings of impressive realism. You'll also manipluer different operators: Shaded Planes of objects via the Blob Mesh. In short, you'll learn all about the particles in 3ds Max!

Training available on DVD, VOD and download.

Total duration of the training: 6h50

- Particle Flow in Max 2013
Introduction (former particle system Particle Flow VS)
Geometric particles (solids)
Planar particles (faces - shape facing)
The BlobMesh (liquids, pastes)
- Forces (eg wind) and deflectors (eg barrier)
The different types of forces (gravity, wind, bomb, vortex, etc ...)
The different types of deflectors (spherical, planar and universal)
Older types of particles practices but incomplete
Control gravity (Gravity)
Apply a constant force: Push
Simulate gravity on particles
Discover the wind
Set the wind on its particles (Wind)
The vortex effect or sink
Expel particles explosion (Pbomb)
Do is implode particles (Pbomb negative)
Rotating particles (Motor)
Print speeds of origin for the particles of Motor
Set the rotation inertia with feedback ON
Slow particles (Damping)
Follow Path forces and displace
The deflectors Plan, Spherical and Universal
Focus on the deflector Spherical
Focus on the deflector Universal
- Particle Flow Basics
Enable Particle Flow - remove selected particles
Focus on the window controls Pflow
Set point (or object) emission of particles
Gain speed particles
Give shape to your particles (shapes, faces, etc..)
The menu editing Particle Flow: Edit, Select and Display Pflow
Order the action of particle calculations (first Global and Local First)
Pflow synchronization with the source objects / Repair cache
A review of the operators and comments
- Texture the particles in Particle Flow
The dynamic material
The static material
Apply textures with a percentage: material frequency
Copy the texture of an object: Mapping object
Blurring the particles according to the movement: Motion Blur
Border between 3ds Max and After Effects?
- Lab: Creating a candle flame with Particle Flow
Emit particles on the bit and make the particles look to the camera (direct) + add wind
Reduce the top of the flame: the scale operator
Direct flame for more realism
- Create the flames of a torch
Pflow install on the torch 3D
Adjust the rendering of flames in anticipation of post-production
Steer the direction of the flames of the torch
Work on the texture of the flames (increase the contrast of flames)
Set the light which is deposited on the flames
- Make a campfire with a 3D mesh with 2013 Max and After Effects
Animate the rectangles in 3D space
Adjust the transmitter fire (sphere)
Post production in After Effects (make the fire more real)
- The flaming car 3D
Make the smoke escapes through the windows broken
Create a particle system with standard Object Position
The textures of smoke: Gradient ramp alpha particle + age
Post production of smoke in After Effects
- Explode with a wall pieces and dust in contact with the ground
Establish Particle Flow (not with MassFx)
The Spawn: generate particles and sub-particles
Body Shape: imitate an object with particles
Summary of the particle system (Wall, collisions)
Explode the biggest concrete blocks
Manage mini blocks (gravel)
Post Production After Effects
- Imitate the sea foam 3D + shift and drag a boat with foam
Example and comments of the 3D scene
Whirlpools, eddies and droplets in 3D particles
Creating all the effects of moving water
The foam front of the boat
The Ripples
Post production of water in After Effects
Explosion of foam against a rock
- Create a mountain stream that rushes down a rock
Torrent that rushes down a rock
Post production in After Effects torrent
- Fill a glass of wine with liquid
Occupy a volume with particles
Create the bottom of the glass with Boolean
Create the fountain in BlobMesh
Contain the sphere in a container
Summary of the particle system
Post production in After Effects
- Simulate water with particles which are crushed on the floor
Create rain with Pflow
- Simulate the mist
Simulate the smoke through a fantasy portal that opens
- Bonus
The other group operators
- Conclusion
Send to new horizons
